A self-expressive Illustrator piece, this tattoo was designed to showcase personal identity and technical skill. Growing up a competitive swimmer, one could say that my interest in the ocean came from the extensive hours spent in water, however, I believes the true catalyst was seeing Dolphin Tale (2011) in second-grade. Since then, I’ve been adament about my affection for the infamous sea creatures, contributing to my long time love of water sports, marine life, and the color blue. The four dolphins each represent a member of her family.
This tattoo is an ode to childhood—to the resiliance, wonder, and passion I possessed as kid that I now strives to carry into adulthood. My life’s dream is to swim with dolphins in the ocean.
